Yes, the lovely start of another week! can you believe it?? Today has been fab so far! just at home eating some lunch as we speak! I will first share some biker babe pictures of me! I posted them in my last post, but it was late last night sooo...
What do you all think? BORN TO RIDE! haha (just to clear up this is not MY bike. It is Jason's we were just having a fun photo shoot!)
Beautiful Boston sky line from our dinner last night!
AND breakfast this morning was eaten after my 3.75 mile run! I did it in 32 minutes, then continued with 8 minutes of high incline walking at 10-11% grade. wooohoooo what a cardio workout! I really love working out in the AM....It refreshes me and gets me wide awake for the day! This will be workout 1 for the day however, because I have my Trainer later this afternoon!! Maybe I will bring my camera!! (I told him I may do it haha)
It was time for THIS!
1/2 C oats, 1/2 nanner, blueberries, strawberries, cinnamon, flax
with THIS, drizzled on top...UHMAZING, Justin, thats all I have to say about this breakfast!
Has anyone ever tried the cinnamon peanut butter? I think they only have it online. I bought a few packets at Whole Foods this weekend, but couldn't find the cinnamon PB-if you see it, GRAB it!
Lunch was eaten at home when I got home from work and yes, it was a wrap FOR SURE!
I first started with this as the base on my wrap (which is in the background!) Laughing Cow Garlic and Herb! My favorite Flavor!!
Joseph's Lavash wrap with 1/2 laughing cow'ed out, 1/2 honey mustard and Trader Joes Cranberry chutney, baby spinach
I always like to measure out my protein. I try to aim for between 3-3.5 oz depending on how hungry I am. Today it was 3.10 oz! This Escali scale is great! I use it for all sorts of things like measuring nut butters, meats etc.
**Do any of you use a food scale? What do you mainly use it for?**
with all the ingredients! Added: Tomato's, red onion, my 3.10 oz of turkey breast!
This baby all wrapped up in the pan, ready to have that tea kettle sit on it to become crispy and delicious!
Final Producto= Survey Says: This one is a 10 out of 10....The outside was perfectly crispy, it cut like butter! The turkey was still a little cold, which is great because I am not a fan of hot deli meat. I did not use cucumber which I learned from my wrap last time! The Laughing cow melted and became rich and creamy!
baby spinach, cuke, red pepper, purple cabbage (so pretty!) walnuts, raisins, balsamic vinegar
---------------
I just went to the door and look what was waiting for me!
I ordered these CarbaNada Noodles from www.Netrition.com
I mean, enough bubble wrap??
Pasta lovers everywhere will be thrilled with the taste and texture of these new pastas and will wonder how Al Dente has succeeded in making a great tasting, low-carb pasta when others have failed. Because Al Dente, Inc. is one of the few pasta companies in the country to sheet rather than extrude the dough, they are able to achieve a texture that is more similar to traditional fresh egg pasta. This method, along with the great, all-natural flavors, give a real taste treat to the millions of people who do not want to give up pasta even though they are on low-carb diets.
Each serving has 140 calories, 24g carbs, 6 g fiber, 12g protein, 1 g fat, 20mg sodium!

Ok off a Foodie post for a second. My doggy past away about a year ago and this is him below. His name was Jersey and he was a Soft Coated Wheaten terrier. He is the sweetest, most loving little guy you can imagine and I was just scrolling through my pictures and saw this and it struck me that I miss him terribly. You could certainly call him a Foodie too. Whenever we would eat, he would place his cute little face on your lap hoping the smallest piece of turkey or chicken would fall, and he was ALL over that!
Do any of you have pets/had pets that you love or loved?? I'd love to hear your pet story!!
**Also, hopefully my parents are reading this, so they will seriously think about getting a new puppy!!**
Alrighty my bloggies, almost time to hit the gym for my personal training sesh!

Hi naomi! Ive triedt he Cinnamon Justins nut butter--I just thought it was ok, and I usually love cinnamon anything! My favorite by far is the maple almond! YUM!
Jersey is adorable!
I have 2 dogs a Toy Poodle named Bailey and an Australian Shephard named Chief. I had a Dalmation named Sparkie growing up. I miss her lots!
That nut butter looks so good, I need to pick up some new flavors! We always had pets growing up and I miss having them around, we had a Rat Terrier mix named Crystal growing up and she was so cuddly and lovable! I miss that face of excitement when we would get home from school.
Such a cute dog!
your food looks delicious. your doggie was such a cutie and i can completely understand why you'd miss him so much. i know my little sadie is like a family member to me!
Your dog was so adorable. I have a westie named montana who is thankfully still with us but certainly up there in age.
I have a food scale and love it. I just had to go out to get a new battery for mine. I use it for pretty much anything, but what I find it best for is grains like oatmeal and pasta. I just could not get the serving size/water amount right without it.
Great blog, always a nice surprise to find a new one with a hot biker chic pic :)
I just entered your contest, am linking you back, and blogrolled you. Woo hoo!
xoxo
I used to use a food scale, but it broke and I never replaced it. After using it for so long, I can pretty much tell how much portion sizes are.
I had a pug named Borkie for ten years. He passed away about two years ago. He had arthritis in his knees and heart problems. General old age stuff I guess. I miss him all the time...especially his pug snorts!
Your wrap looks great!
Your wrap sounds SO GOOD! Laughing cow is amazing in wraps..mmm! It tastes good with pesto too!
I weigh some of my proteins.. sliced turkey, fish, and any other dense or hard to eyeball meat. Same with any other calorie dense food!
Your wrap looks amazing!! I never use a food scale--but I try to keep an eye on my protein portions, too..
Jersey was adorable! I hope your parents get a new pup :)
Aw he looks like he was a sweet puppy! I have always had dogs - usually we have 3 at a time. Right now it's two Boston terriers and one chocolate lab.
That salad looks like a fantastic combination!! Hope your Monday is going well :)
haha ahhhh that bike is 3x's bigger than you :) so cute though -- wild thaaaaaang!
the Garlic Herb is my favorite LC flavor too! we are such twinsies :)
Awwww Jersey looks adorable! I'm sure he was a great dog... I've lost so many pets over the years :( My kitten now is definitely an indoor cat only because I couldn't bear to lose another animal!! She's my little baby :)
Love the biker look!
I have yet to try the Lauhing Cow in a wrap, but I am going to, as you suggested :) Your wrap looks fantastic!
I have not tried the cinnamon pb, but I hear it's really good. I just figure I can add cinnamon to my own pb, without spending teh extra money (it's expensive!).
Have a great night.
i wish i had a scale-i know for baking it's more accurate
and i love people's pet pictures! we have pet chickens at my parents house, but i've never had a dog or a cat or anything...
Oh wow, I am currently OBSESSED with the Laughing Cow, Cran Chutney combo. I seriously can not get enough of this. I made such a similar wrap for dinner only I added roasted Butternut squash and grilled it quesadilla style. It Rocked my world! :)
Hope you enjoyed your Monday.
i use a food scale for my proteins too. it works for me so i use it!

I am in love with Justin's nut butters! Have you ever tried the maple almond butter? It's amazing and expensive but so worth it!
Okay so I also have a food scale..and I get so many weird stares from others..So, glad im not the only one:) I mostly use it for PB and snacks..things I tend to eat more than 1 serving..hehe
and that wrap looks yummy..I never thought to put it on skillet..great idea!
P.s
Thanks for becoming a follower:)
awwww love your pups!
p.s. you were totally born to ride! haha
I've wanted a food scale for SO long. I'm just a numbers person and enjoy that kind of stuff. I LOVE Justin's maple almond butter...so so so so good!
I love Justin's nut butters! Cute blog, I can't wait to read more :)
Hi Naomi! I have a food scale and I LOVE IT! I use it daily when I'm at home. Definitely a life saver. Yours looks like a good one, too. I like the big numbers ;)
Those carba noodles look great! And what a clever name for a product!
Your dog was a cutie! I am so sorry for your loss. Hope your parents cave and get a new one! I have a dog and cat and they are my babies. I told my husband today I predict my 8 year old cat will live to be 22 years. I hope. I hated cats until I found her and she is amazing. My dog is great too. She was found in a cat rescue and I adopted her. She is spoiled rotten. She was the only dog on adoption day that was chilling in her cage and did not bark or jump. She is so laid back and too lazy to put on a show to get adopted, so I took her home and she is so well behaved and not hyper for a border collie.
I'll have to try the garlic and herb Laughing Cow next time, it looks yummy!
I use a food scale for just about everything. It gets a little crazy at times, and then I just back away from the scale, but it definitely helps me keep portions in check.
Hey, thanks for checking out my blog! It's always fun to find other Bostonians!
Thanks for the link lovely!
Thanks for the link back! Sorry about your pup! It hurts to lose 'em! Even if it was a little while back...I know!
